On your device

The camera is used only while you scan. Images, PDFs and recognised text are stored in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. Text recognition happens on the phone. Skan does not send your documents anywhere.

If you import from Photos or Files, Skan only gets access to what you pick. Deleting the app removes its local data; backups follow your iOS settings.

No account or tracking

Skan has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Support emails

If you contact support, the information you choose to send is used to answer you. Your email is handled by our email providers. Contact us if you want your correspondence deleted.

This website

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested pages, to deliver and secure it. This site has no advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms or tracking pixels. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
